High Seas High School
Das segelnde Klassenzimmer®
  The Project

The Project | The Voyage 11/12 | Summer–HSHS | HSHS–Archive

HSHS–Application (1) (2)
General requirements: Your school report should be at least satisfactory. According to the prior experience of the project team, you might find it difficult to rejoin the 11th grade after the trip if this is not the case. Sailing experience is a different topic altogether. You don’t need any prior experience to belong to the crew. You should enjoy water and sailing. You should also have a certain stamina, be interested in sports and resilient. You should know what you want and first–hand experiences mean more to you than just dry clichés.

Financing
Financing up until now, students have financed this event themselves. This means you’ll have to pay approx. 2500,–– € per month. If you are attending a boarding school, you’ll just have to redirect the money. High Seas High School is intensively trying to find sponsors for the project, because the founders don’t want exclusively to have an elitist school for children of well–off parents. Instead, they want to have variety and financial flexibility. Maybe next year many more things will be possible than today. Good luck and ship ahoy!
